Mr. Karanovic has technical expertise in hydrogeology, numerical groundwater programming, and modeling. He has worked with steady-state and transient groundwater flow models to assess flow and transport of contaminants at Superfund Sites. He has also developed original codes for simulating groundwater flow, contaminant, and heat transport in a hydrocarbon spill on Antarctica's ice cover. He is an experienced EVS user and has developed a number of utilities to facilitate the creation of EVS animations from groundwater modeling software. He also developed KT3D_H2O, a custom GUI for the GSLIB KT3D program incorporating analytic elements and particle-tracking in capture zone analyses.
