Troy Baker has been with NOAA for eight years and is the Southeast Branch Chief of NOAA’s Assessment & Restoration Division. He is stationed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and his primary responsibility is evaluating the ecological risks and injuries to NOAA trust resources resulting from contaminants in the environment. Troy manages a region where spills, vessel groundings, and waste sites are being addressed routinely under the Natural Resources Damage Assessment (NRDA) process. He also is one of the Deepwater Horizon injury assessment leads and is a representative to the regional Trustee Council.
