Water Supplies in Ecologically Sensitive Areas
Session presentations are sought that detail the development of water supplies including springs, surface water, and/or ground water well sources in ecologically sensitive areas. Abstracts should include investigative and monitoring activities undertaken as required by local, regional, state, and federal regulators to enable source development and permitting. The chosen topics will effectively relate key issues of source development with wetland, stream, and aquifer protection. The topics should consider for discussion the myriad of regulations and conflicts therein that must be addressed to successfully complete a project and satisfy all stakeholders.
