Geologic Mapping for Ground Water Supply and Protection
Geologic mapping is necessary for determining the size and location of aquifers, the variability of aquifer properties, and what materials protect them. This poster session seeks examples of maps and three-dimensional models that have helped geologists and engineers better understand an aquifer system. We also invite examples of maps and models that have been useful in helping policy makers understand ground water systems to enhance management of the resource.
