This session will focus on documenting and assessing impacts of changing climate on management of ground water resources (quantity and quality) in developing countries. Interest will be focused on potential impact of climate change on uncertainty in prediction of ground water, and data support required to characterize/document spatial and temporal variability. Presentations focus on uncertainty in long-term prediction of ground water sustainability, current projects/programs that involve data collection efforts focused on assessment/management of ground water resources, proposed data needs/structures in support of future efforts in ground water resource development/management, and review/critical assessment of methods of data management.
