Regional Hydrogeology and Kartchner Caverns

(Limit 25 participants) Kartchner Caverns is a unique living cave system located in east-central Arizona and part of the Arizona State Parks System. Water is the lifeblood of the cave and the specialized ecosystems it hosts. Regional groundwater demands both natural and human that might impact the cave under study at this time. The field trip will focus on the present level of understanding of these complex and interrelated natural systems and the cave's future.
