Searching the internet for useful information can be frustrating and time consuming, especially for small water supply operators that have little time or web experience to look for help on the internet.  SmallWaterSupply.org makes this process more productive with an easy-to-use interface that returns only information relevant to water and wastewater operations.

National in scope, SmallWaterSupply.org acts as an information clearinghouse from the organizations and agencies that provide documents, events, and information related to small water supplies.  The website steers the operator directly back to these organizations and agencies.  In effect, we are partnering with all of these groups.  The document- and event-search features allow the user to search for information or events by category (e.g., asset management, water treatment, lead and copper, etc.), type (CD, spreadsheet, factsheet, manual, etc.), state or host/sponsor.

The focus of the website is to provide water operators with value-added resources to allow them to be more efficient and productive.  If operators can’t find what they are looking for, they can contact us and we will locate it for them.  If they don’t have the capability of printing or downloading a document because of its size, or their internet connection limitations, we will print/download the document and send it to them.  All of these services are free.

Useful information and tools will be continually added to the website.  It will soon include a forum for sharing information; a careers page to support the water/wastewater operator profession; a help desk to assist in finding resources; locations of online training; a webpage for tribal information and resources, including a directory of TA providers for tribal systems; a webpage devoted to NTNC information and issues; and an extensive help section with video tutorials for using the website and the internet.
