This session will present timely and important information on the role of key federal government agencies in the assessment and management of groundwater resources. The session will focus on the agencies roles and responsibilities in the assessment of groundwater/aquifers and the mitigation of potential impacts to groundwater related to the development of natural resources for energy development (i.e, oil and gas production, in-situ leaching of uranium). The session will also focus on water scarcity due to global change.
