To address the theme of this year’s Summit, NGWA has convened a panel of environmental leaders to present and discuss their perspectives on the challenges their organizations face with regard to the protection, restoration, and sustainability of groundwater resources. Each panelist represents a major sector, including federal and state government, industry, consulting, and academic research and development.

Each panelist will present a summary of the groundwater-related challenges from the perspective of their sector, in the areas of legal-regulatory compliance, stakeholder involvement, and allocation of financial resources for solving the problems at hand. The panelists will also present one or two current examples from their day-to-day activities that highlight the key challenges they face and the solutions they are implementing. The panel discussion will end with a question-and-answer session for conference participants to gain further insight from the panelists.
