Dr. DiFilippo has extensive experience addressing the fate and transport of organic and inorganic chemicals in the environment. She has conducted numerous studies of groundwater transport, statistical geochemical analysis, groundwater age-dating, dense non-aqueous phase liquid (DNAPL) dissolution, enhanced DNAPL remediation technologies, and the use of innovative technologies for measuring in-situ concentrations of organic contaminants in sediment pore-water.
