Advances in the Water Well Industry Over the Past 20 Years - Topical Session, 2.5 CEPs
The second edition of Groundwater and Wells by Fletcher G. Driscoll has been referenced as the "bible" of the water well industry. However, since 1986, there have been significant advances in the water well industry with respect to new drilling rigs, drilling techniques, well installation techniques, borehole geophysics, and well rehabilitation and maintenance. These new advances are addressed in the soon-to-be-available 2007 edition. This session will feature contributing authors to highlight these advances.
