Aquifer Protection: Technical, Policy, and Regulatory Strategies - Topical Session, 1 CEP
This session promotes the protection of ground water and fosters discussion between and among facility owners and operators, regulators, ground water scientists and engineers, and the general public about aquifer protection and wellhead protection issues. Protecting ground water from contamination is an important part of sustaining ground water resources and is more cost-effective than remediation. This session includes presentations related to the technical, policy, or regulatory aspects of protecting the quality of ground water resources.
