Techniques for Longer Pump Life - Workshop, 1 CEP
Despite the best drilling and maintenance practices, many water wells do eventually suffer from sand, which abrasively damages pumps and causes efficiency loss. Techniques are available for protecting pumps to substantially increase pump life and reduce pump energy costs. This noncommercial presentation will explore the techniques and their value. Examples of energy savings potential will be shared. Illustrations will be presented to explain installation and performance of these techniques. As pumped well water becomes more important to the needs of irrigation, efficiency and longer pump life are equally important. It's critical to know what technologies are available in order to make informed decisions.
