Slow and Steady Wins the Race: Improving Job Efficiency by Slowing Down - Workshop, 1 CEP
Quite often in the water well industry, rushing the installation of a well leads to numerous problems that can become costly and time- consuming for the contractor. Many times these problems can be greatly reduced or even eliminated by a very simple strategy. There is a saying that "Slow is smooth and smooth is fast." While this may initially sound contradictory, it is easy to see how applying this philosophy to drilling operations can lead to benefits for both the contractor and the well owner. A methodical approach to every phase of the drilling operation from preplanning to drilling, grouting, and completion will help minimize setbacks, breakdowns, and failures, and result in more successful completions, reduced costs, and satisfied well owners.
