Deep Ground Water Investigations

Tuesday, December 2, 2008: 2:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
N235/237 (Las Vegas Convention Center)
Learn about the challenges and opportunities that deep ground water investigations present. Accessing ground water in environments deeper than normal—defined here as depths of 500 or more feet—requires the use of equipment and methods not commonly used for routine ground water investigations. From the design and construction to the sampling and utilization, deep wells are unique. (NGWA's new Deep Ground Water Investigations Interest Group is this session's organizer.)
