Best Suggested Practices for Dealing with the Relationship Between Wells with Elevated Levels of Iron and Arsenic—Work Session

Tuesday, December 2, 2008: 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
N101 (Las Vegas Convention Center)
Advance our industry by sharing your experience, expertise, and insight in the development of a new NGWA "best practice" dealing with the relationship between wells with elevated levels of iron and arsenic. Why the need? Only through observing the correlations between elevated minerals can we then take steps in treating resulting potable water issues. Facilitated by a neutral third party, you and your colleagues will discuss, dissect, and analyze a "straw man" outline with the goal being to restructure it and ultimately turn it into a consensus best practice draft to submit to the NGWA Board of Directors for consideration. (You should expect continuing involvement beyond this session at the Expo with subsequent work conducted via e-mail, conference call, and online collaboration software.) Space is limited in this work session to the first 25 participants.
