This workshop addresses how a state association can plan, promote, and hold a public awareness event where, for example, the proper construction and grouting of a residential water well is demonstrated and the protection of groundwater quality is explained. Examples from the Pennsylvania Ground Water Association’s eight public awareness summer field conferences will show you the range of topics that can be demonstrated to increase public awareness and educate regulatory officials.
