The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration continues to refine its electronic recordkeeping system which includes your company’s fitness rating regarding DOT inspections. We will walk you through the process to set up your account and gain access to the DataQ system. You will need a credit card and your Federal Employer Identification number to apply. (After submission of the application, FMCSA sends the access PIN number to the place of business via mail.) Since notification is by mail, you will not be able to access your company information during the companion workshop on FMCSA: Checking Your Company's DOT Record Lab.
