The National Ground Water Association is seeking submissions for its professional development offerings at the 2016 Groundwater Week. We welcome proposals from those who wish to actively engage their audience while elevating the skills, competencies, and professional practice of those in the groundwater industry.
Please share your proposal for a workshop, hands-on activity, panel, or technical session abstract by the stated deadline by selecting the appropriate button below.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m. ET. Saturday, April 30, 2016
Workshops and panel discussions are scheduled in 75-minute blocks, although presentation times are allocated a total of 60 minutes (50 minutes to present and 10 minutes for questions and answers). These offerings are designed to facilitate technology transfer and are not commercial opportunities. Offerings should be addressed to those who work in any segment of the groundwater industry.
Prior to making a submission, consider these aspects of a presentation as they must be shared on the submission:
One or two learning objectives are acceptable for an hour long program. Think in terms of words like "identify, list, use, recall, assemble, calculate, compare, analyze," and not "learn, know, or understand." We are looking at the activity that indicates knowledge and understanding. How will the person be more efficient and productive by participating?
