Ground Water Week Call for Papers

Groundwater Week is the premier annual event for new products, education, and networking in the groundwater industry. In striving to maintain this position, NGWA is seeking submissions for science-oriented and practical application educational programming designed to be relevant to, and benefit, the various sectors of groundwater industry professionals. Submissions promoting technology transfer, scientific studies and data, and innovative tools and techniques are sought in formats inclusive of conference platform/poster presentations, workshop/learning sessions, and roundtable discussions.

The number of presentation slots is limited for any type of offering. We encourage all submitters to focus on technology transfer, innovation, timely data, and current best practices.

Contractor workshops

  • 60-minute workshop — instructor-led education class focused on transferring skills and knowledge to attendees. Conference topics include —

  • General workshop submission information
    • Title — 10-word limit
    • Workshop description or presentation abstract — 150-word limit
    • Format — all submissions must be written in sentence form without bullet points
    • Review — all submissions will be peer-reviewed and presenters notified of acceptance by June 30

Science & Engineering Forum at Groundwater Week Papers, Posters, Extended Learning Sessions

  • Platform presentation — Each presenter will have a 20-minute presentation slot to share research or practical application results.
  • Poster presentation — A presentation of research information in the form of a paper poster that conference participants may view during a poster session.
  • Extended Learning Session — These 60-minute slots are provided to allow a more in-depth exploration of current groundwater science and technology.
