Hal is a Principal and Senior Hydrogeologist with Petrotek Engineering Corporation in Littleton CO and has 33 years of applied industry experience. He holds degrees in Petroleum Engineering (B.S.) and Hydrogeology (M.S). In particular, Hal has been involved in the aquifer exemption process under the SDWA UIC program for over 20 years. He has prepared and provided technical support for aquifer exemption applications related to management of process water in Class I (industrial), Class II (E&P fluids), and Class III (in-situ mining) injection wells. Projects have included locations in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Texas.
