Anurag Mantha is a PhD student in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech. He is from India and has a bachelors in Civil Engineering. He is co-advised by Dr. Marc Edwards and Dr. Annie Pearce. His masters research was looking at removal of hexavalent chromium from drinking water for small systems. As part of his PhD, Anurag is studying domestic hot water systems and aims to optimize the design from an energy and water efficiency standpoint. Anurag has been part of the FlintWaterStudy team since its inception in August 2015.
