Steve Ales is the Field Operations Director for the Remediation and Redevelopment Program within the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The RR Program is responsible for the oversight of investigation and clean ups of spills sites in Wisconsin. Steve has been with the Wisconsin DNR for over 30 years spending about 20 years in the RR program and 10 years in various water related programs. Steve is a professional Geologist in Wisconsin. He has a B.S. in Geology from the University of Iowa and a M.S. in Water Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
