Ann Bleed University of Nebraska Lincoln, USA For most of her professional career Ann worked as the State Hydrologist, Deputy Director and finally as Director at the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources. Before that she was an assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska. Since her retirement from the Department of Natural Resources in 2008, she has been working as a consultant on water issues and as facilitator/mediator of water disputes. Previous to becoming the State Hydrologist, Ann was an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska and she is still an adjunct professor and is currently co-teaching a class on Water and Environmental Law and Policy at the University of Nebraska Law School. Ann has a Ph. D. degree from the University of Wisconsin and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
