Jon Benedict is a hydrogeologist with the Nevada Division of Water Resources (NDWR). Jon has a B.A. in Geology from Dartmouth College and an M.S. in Geology from University of Wyoming. His responsibilities include conducting statewide hydrologic assessments for water right conflict analysis and using groundwater models to evaluate projects for their potential impact on water resources. He also manages NDWR’s Aquifer Storage and Recovery program and oversees all mine monitoring plans for the Division. Jon is the in-house technical lead on NDWR’s Humboldt River Basin capture study and conjunctive management effort.
