The View Beneath Your Feet: Geophysics for Groundwater Studies

Thursday, December 10, 2009: 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
207 (Morial Convention Center)
Improve your drilling operations by learning the best geophysical methods to use in determining the geology and water quality of the subsurface. While drilling provides detailed knowledge of small areas, groundwater projects may be hampered by the difficulty of predicting the composition of the subsurface/geology away from the borehole. Of benefit to drilling contractors, hydrogeologists, and suppliers, there will be a focus on surface and borehole methods.
