Reverse Circulation (RC) Drilling has evolved far beyond its often stereotyped application for gravel packed irrigation wells in alluvial formations less than 500'. In addition to the aforementioned applications it is also used for drilling rock formations in depths exceeding 2000'. This session will discuss some of those applications and provide a comparison of RC drilling to other drilling methodologies.
