Basin-Scale Modeling for Water Resource Analysis

Tuesday, April 13, 2010: 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Continental B (Westin Tabor Center, Denver)
Basin-scale modeling has received much recent attention for regional management of water resources and cross-basin dispute resolution. Presentations include comprehensive numerical studies of basinwide management of water or salinity for agricultural and urban use, water allocation among competing interests, water markets, impacts of groundwater development on senior surface water rights, crop production optimization, and potential impacts of climate change of basin-scale water resources.
Moderators:
Jim McCord, Ph.D., PE and Sorab Panday, Ph.D.
