With recent increases in uranium mining throughout the world, contamination of groundwater with uranium has become an increasingly public issue. This is especially true in areas with competing demands on groundwater resources. This session will bring together scientists working on uranium in groundwater from many aspects to address protection of the world’s groundwater resources and bring science into practice.
