Tuesday, May 8, 2012: 8:00 a.m.-8:40 a.m.
Terrace Room A-C (Hyatt Regency Orange County)
Groundwater resources are extremely important to sustain human life and support economic growth. A uniform and comprehensive classification system is desirable to ensure all parties are utilizing the same definitions, espouse consistent objectives for both protection and restoration of the resource, and adopt consistent reporting protocols, enforcement, and responses to contamination. This session looks at uniformity on all levels and case studies illustrating how analysis and remediation would have been more effective utilizing consistent guidance.
