Mr. Appelt has nineteen years of experience as a geologist, with thirteen in the environmental consulting industry. His experience includes Brownfields assessments and remediation projects coordinated with multiple community development groups in Texas and other states. He supported state and municipal contractors working for municipalities assessing Texas properties for applicability in Brownfield programs. He managed and performed LPST site assessments, and planned and performed TRRP subsurface investigations. He has also managed emergency response actions ranging from small fuel spills to clean-ups of large industrial and chemical operations as part of the USEPA Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) program.
