Calvin Finch is the Director of the new Texas A&M Water Conservation and Technology Center after 22 years of water conservation-related work. During his 12 years at the San Antonio Water System he served as Water Conservation Director, Water Resources Director, and Director of Regional Initiatives. His most recent assignment was as SAWS representative on the Edwards Aquifer Recovery Implementation Program. Finch received a Ph.D. in horticulture from Texas A&M University. In addition to his water resources experience, many in South Texas know him because of his media work and involvement in volunteer projects and programs.
