Jennifer Adkins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and remained at the at the University of Arkansas to attend graduate school. She is currently conducting thesis research relating to the hydrostratigraphic analysis of the Knippa Gap constriction in the Edwards Aquifer in San Antonio, Texas. In correspondence with her research, Adkins completed internships during the summer of 2012 with the Edwards Aquifer Authority and the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio Texas.
