James A. Dunst

James A. Dunst, national training director for Bell Performance Inc., is responsible for all existing and new dealer training. In addition, he provides technical assistance to its dealers on fuel issues, mechanical issues, and engine management systems. Previously Dunst held positions including that of fleet manager and general manager of operations for Hi-Acres Services in Florida, parts and service director for Central Florida Lincoln Mercury, line technician at several Lincoln Mercury and Ford dealerships, and president of Certified Auto Specialists Inc. in Longwood, Florida. In addition, he's worked for the EPA and the American Automobile Association. Dunst was national manager of the Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills Competition for high school seniors and, during this same time, he also built and managed Ford Motor Company's Ultimate Master Technician Challenge, a nationwide auto repair competition for Ford dealership technicians. Dunst graduated from Wisconsin Automotive Mechanical Apprenticeship, a three-year program. He's certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence as an ASE Master Automobile Technician, ASE Master Heavy-Duty Truck Technician, and ASE Master Auto Body & Paint Technician. Dunst is also certified by the Automotive Service Industry Association as an Automotive Hall of Fame Triple Master World-Class Technician.
