Maureen Hart is the executive director of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals, the world's leading association of sustainability professionals. ISSP works to make sustainability standard practice through empowering professionals to advance sustainability in organizations and communities around the globe. ISSP improves the skills of sustainability practitioners through education, knowledge sharing, and research. With more than 20 years in the field of sustainability, Hart brings a wealth of experience to her position. She’s an expert in sustainability indicators and author of the Guide to Sustainable Community Indicators. Prior to taking on the leadership of ISSP, she was founder and owner of Sustainable Measures where she assisted a wide variety of large and small for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in understanding and developing more sustainable practices.
