In this workshop, you will look at a selection of different pumps with their efficiencies and compare their energy savings. You will learn about calculating the payback period of a higher efficiency motor and VFD. You will hear details about the energy savings advantages of VFDs, such as lower demand charge at startup and the flexibility of lowering the load by speeding down the equipment. The drawbacks and proper applications of VFDs will also be addressed.
