Nevada Highway Patrol

Trooper Elmer Johnson served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and retired in 1995. He joined the Nevada Highway Patrol in 1999; he has been with the Nevada Highway Patrol for 12 Years and has been a Commercial Enforcement Trooper for 8 years. He is an Instructor for the National Training Center (NTC). He teaches Part A (documents), Part B (mechanical), NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and refresher training for Level IV (WIPP) to enforcement officers. He has three years of commercial driving experience.
