Steve Gross is the Director of R&D for CertainTeed’s Pipe business. He is a registered Professional Engineer and leads the group that developed restrained-joint PVC pipe for water well applications. Gross has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, an MBA from Philadelphia University, and thirty years of experience in the analysis, design, and marketing of engineered products. He is a member of the ASTM and NGWA committees responsible for plastic pipe standards, and was presented with the 2010 NGWA Manufacturers Division Special Recognition Award. Steve was also recently honored with the Uni-Bell Technical Service Award.
