Alyson McCann has conducted outreach and educational programs with private well owners and professionals for more than 20 years, working with federal, state, and local partners. She served as the program coordinator for the biennial Northeast Private Well Water Symposium, a professional event designed to integrate research, extension, and educational efforts to protect private well water. In 2008 she received the Community Partnership Award from the Rhode Island Department of Health for exceptional community efforts that support the mission of the Health Department.
