Working as a Subcontractor: What You Need to Know Before You Sign

Large construction projects almost always involve the awarding of numerous subcontracts to bring the final product to completion. If you are accustomed to working as the primary contractor, you could be in for a rude awakening as a subcontractor on one of these projects. The rules and legal requirements are different. You will learn what to look for in contractual agreements, what questions you should ask of the primary contact, and what your rights and responsibilities are when you are the subcontractor.
