Advancements in Thermally Enhanced Grouts for Ground Sourced Heating and Cooling Systems

Wednesday, December 6, 2017: 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Activity Area A- Exhibit Hall (Music City Center)
This course provides an updated look at thermally-enhanced grouts for both vertical and horizontal ground sourced heating and cooling systems. Discussions include the purpose of grouting and sealing, as well as the purpose of thermally-enhanced grouts. Also included will be a discussion on the Nebraska Grout Study and how it relates to thermally-enhanced grouts. Topics of discussion also include the types and quality of materials used to increase thermal conductivity and their effects on pumpability verses conductivity.
