Understanding and Mixing Drilling Fluids

Thursday, December 7, 2017: 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
Activity Area B- Exhibit Hall (Music City Center)
The challenge of mixing drilling fluids has long perplexed many water well contractors.  A proven five simple step process can foster the understanding of bentonites, polymers, and special products.  The process will guide you through the steps required for mixing the correct products in the proper order and proportion and will demonstrate each step with visually.  Drilling owners and operators and field personnel can grasp and perform the entire process without having to understand and apply complex chemical formulations—and still be well-prepared to address loss circulation, dispersion, and bit-balling.
