~80% of all public water systems in the USA are considered "Very Small" or "Small" with a similar percentage using ground water sources to supply potable water to the facility, staff and customers. With the implementation of the RTCR and GWR many of the systems are challanged in many areas to achieve compliance once positive bacteria tests have been collected. Technical and financial capacity are a critical area to ensure a sustainable solution is implemented and recent advancements in UV technology to achieve a Validated UV dose of 186mJ/cm2 now allow UV to be a simple costs effective solution for Small Public Water Systems.
