Private Well Issues

The University of Illinois Private Well Class program hosted the first National Private Well Workshop for sanitarians, drilling contractors, scientists, public health officials and educators in May, 2017. Topics included, but not limited to well owner outreach and education, well construction practices, water testing, and changing private well regulations were addressed.  This workshop will share the most significant issues identified along with the solutions offered and lessons learned.
