Monitoring Well Construction

Tuesday, December 5, 2017: 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
202 AB (Music City Center)
Monitoring well construction is most often achieved by using hollow stem and solid stem augers, although sonic methods may also be employed. This workshop will address the process by which monitoring wells are properly constructed in addition to potential geologic challenges.  Proper selection of support equipment and materials to achieve a successful outcome, as well as safe practice procedures will be shared. Those new to the industry and those in need of a refresher can benefit from this presentation.
