Understanding Friction Loss Calculations

Presented on Tuesday, December 3, 2019

Students will review fundamentals of friction loss, from where the numbers come from, how do I properly read a chart, and what could make a chart read differently. Have you ever wondered why charts can vary so much? What is the difference if you use a chart with the Williams and Hazen formula? Do different industry’s report friction losses differently? And what can this all mean to sizing a pump?
