Jerome E. Spear, CSP, CIH, president of J.E. Spear Consulting LP located in Magnolia, Texas, has more than 25 years of experience helping organizations control losses and prevent injuries and illnesses. He has held the positions of corporate industrial hygiene manager for Chicago Bridge and Iron Co., a worldwide engineering and construction firm, and technical services manager for XL Specialty Risk Consulting. Spear holds a B.S. degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in safety engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in management from Sam Houston State University.
