Receive a well-rounded conceptual framework for loop installation, including horizontal and vertical drilling, and loop installation; drilling fluids; grouting and sealing with thermally enhanced grouts; thermal conductivity; and sand selection in this workshop. Topics include loop field design, hole diameter vs. tremie and loop diameter, loop spacing, utilizing drilling fluids to maintain borehole stability, drilling fluids utilized in geothermal loop installation, and polymer and additives.
