Preventable or Unpreventable?

Friday, December 11, 2009: 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
208 (Morial Convention Center)
Find out why addressing the issue of “preventable or unpreventable” is perhaps the most important thing you need to determine for every accident, injury, angry customer, equipment failure, or other loss your company experiences. After all, preventing losses is critical to company survival, profitability, and employee safety. In this workshop, managers and supervisors will learn how to determine preventability of losses, how to identify and correct loss exposures, and ways to contain or minimize those few losses that are unpreventable, while employees will learn their vital role in loss prevention and in helping to investigate losses of all types for future preventability. As a team, you will have the opportunity to review simple and complex loss events for preventability, and to suggest actions for minimizing or preventing future similar losses.
