Friday, December 11, 2009: 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
215/216 (Morial Convention Center)
Discover the basics of low-flow groundwater sampling in this workshop, as well as how this increasingly accepted method can ensure better sample representation and quality while complying with regulatory requirements. This workshop covers federal and state guideline summaries, and regulatory references, and provides an overview of water quality analysis including the use of the ASTM D88-05 Test Method C (optical dissolved oxygen methodology). The workshop also addresses acceptable sampling pumps, stabilization criteria, equipment requirements, calibration requirements, field reporting requirements, automated digital field data collection, and automated parameter stabilization/calculations.
